Review: Assassin's Creed Revelations (PS3)

Review: Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PS3)
More assassins. Same creed.

I’ve been trying in vain to put words on this paper to accurately describe the essence of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations in a smart and witty way.  If you’ve been following this game you will find it easy to say that it’s just literally more of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood but with a failed attempt at a tower defense element mashed in there. While this may ring true to its most high level critics, I think that one can think of a slightly more accurate description.

Field Trip: Video Games Live 2011

Field trip: Dark Link goes to Video Games Live
(Salt Lake City, UT: December 30, 2011)

For Christmas my wife got me just about every triple-A title on the PS3 I could ask for. I really couldn’t believe it because in Christmases and birthdays past I considered it a success to get any game. But what really put the icing on the cake was when I looked deeper into the stocking and found two tickets to Video Games Live in Salt Lake City. I had never been before but have wanted to for years.

Review: Portal 2 (PS3)

Review: Portal 2 (PS3)
A breath of fresh air.
Written by: Philip

I love originality. I would rather see a new B grade film that was different, than watch a 9 out of 10 movie over and over again. I truly enjoy first-person-shooters, but how many realistic quasi-modern war games do we need? I love new ideas. I appreciate the courage to think (and act) outside the box. The good thing about Portal 2, is it's not only fresh and new, but it is an experience you can’t afford to miss out on.

I promise, good stuff is on the way.

Currently in the works are several reviews and my top games of 2011. Is it too late to submit a "Best of (thing) from (last year)"? When's that cut off again?
Anyway, to buy me more time, here's my favorite video from Egoraptor.
